Pyongyang, January 20 (KCNA) -- The people’s demand on Ryuwon-trademarked shoes is growing stronger across the DPRK.
The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the Ryuwon Footwear Factory in January 2015. Saying that the factory has an important duty in developing the footwear industry of the country, he gave it the task to make a dynamic drive to produce shoes favored by the people, those symbolic of its unit and shoes impeccable at world market.
The officials and employees at the factory have briskly developed new products, cherishing the loving care and trust of the Central Committee of the great Workers' Party of Korea.
They have made a deep study of the world trend of development in the footwear industry, introduced latest science and technology and completed more than 1 500 designs while examining the technical and engineering principles of excellent products one by one.
The factory has organized shows in a planned way and introduced highly appreciated samples into production. In the course, it has developed more than 1 520 kinds of new products.
It has set up new production lines and introduced efficient jig equipment to improve their efficiency, and established an automatic cutting process to markedly raise the accuracy and productivity of sole molds.
Meanwhile, it set trainers as the main production indices, increased the number of expanded varieties to over 100 kinds and over-fulfilled the national economic plan every year by introducing more than 90 technical innovations and inventions.
The factory was highly appreciated at national footwear exhibition and other exhibitions, honored with the Twice Three-Revolution Red Flag Factory and the Twice Model Technological Innovation Unit and produced a lot of holders of academic degrees and titles and highly skilled workers. -0-
