Young people volunteer for major fronts of socialist construction in North Hamgyong Province

More than 300 young men and women volunteered to work at major socialist construction sites in North Hamgyong Province.
Some 240 of them volunteered as builders at the grand socialist construction projects called by the Party and young people in Hoeryong and other cities and Myongchon, Musan and other counties as miners and coal miners.
Those of Orang, Kyongsong and other counties applied for jobs at construction brigades, road repair and maintenance corps and farms, and many others in the province, including Chongjin and Kim Chaek cities and Kyongwon, Hwadae and Yonsa counties, at raw materials base stations.
Among them are youth league members and graduates from universities and colleges who volunteered to work at the Management Office for Revolutionary Battle Sites in the Area of Paektusan Secret Camp, newly-built regional-industry factories and the Jungphyong Greenhouse Farm.
Kim Yong Hwan, chief secretary of the North Hamgyong Provincial Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, officials concerned, youth and students took part in the congratulatory meeting on January 17 to encourage the volunteers who are filled with enthusiasm to shoulder the heavy burden of the country before anyone else and inject youthful vigour and vitality into the motherland.
