Sangwon Cement Complex Takes Lead in Drive for Increased Production

Pyongyang, January 20 (KCNA) -- The Sangwon Cement Complex, a powerful building-materials producer of the DPRK, has taken the lead in a drive for increased production from the beginning of this year. Its employees raised a torch of miraculous increased production again, and the news is injecting vigor in the struggle of the working class across the country to successfully complete the five-year plan without fail this year. The torch for creating miracles kindled at the complex is associated with the benevolent care of the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un, who put forward it as the first dependable enterprise of the Party, showing his great love and trust. The General Secretary took an unprecedented step and staged an audacious operation to settle the problems arising in the production of the complex such as electricity, coal and equipment repair. Whenever any major construction project is proposed, he would visit the complex before any units and show trust in it, saying that its officials and workers have unconditionally carried out his instructions. When the workers of the complex renewed the peak year level in production, he sent a congratulatory message in his name. And he showed special loving care for the complex seven times in 2021 alone. With his love and trust as the motive force, the workers of the complex have increased production capacity while restoring extra-large equipment to surpass the peak year level and supply quality cement to major construction sites in recent years. This year, the complex set it as a goal to additionally produce hundreds of thousands of tons of cement, an increase of ten times the last year's increased production.
