Pyongyang, January 24 (KCNA) -- More than 50 young people in South Hwanghae Province, the DPRK put their names on the list of volunteers in reflection of their will to bring into full bloom the youthful ideals and ambitions in difficult and labor-consuming economic sectors of socialist construction.
Young people in Sinchon and Songhwa counties and other areas volunteered for a raw material base station and a stockbreeding base.
Young people in Haeju City, Unryul and Ongjin counties and other cities and counties volunteered for farms.
A meeting was held in the South Hwanghae Provincial Art Theatre to congratulate the volunteers.
Present at the meeting were Pak Thae Sop, secretary of the South Hwanghae Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials concerned, officials and members of the youth league.
Volunteer certificates were conferred on the volunteers and speeches, including a congratulatory one, were made.
After the meeting, a congratulatory performance was given.
