North Phyongan Province of the DPRK has greeted an auspicious event for inaugurating the first regional-industry factories in the province.
In October last year the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un visited the regional-industry factories under construction in Kujang County and clearly indicated the important principled orientation and ways for building them wonderfully and perfectly as a symbol of the era that we can show to the younger generations with a clear conscience, on the honor of our times and our generation.
The regional-industry factories in Kujang County, an outcome of the noble ideas and ardent devotion of the great father, instill into the regional people the great pleasure and optimism about a new better life.
The inauguration ceremony of the regional-industry factories in the county took place on Jan. 24.
Kim Chol Sam, chief secretary of the North Phyongan Provincial Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, addressed the ceremony.
He said that many years had passed until the formation of the Ryongmun Cavern, an underground scenic beauty in Kujang County, but precious entities of regional change to provide the county people with a rich life as civilized and modern as in city have appeared in less than one year. This wonderful transformation is a historic miracle that could be wrought only by the respected General Secretary who regards the devotion to the people as his whole life, the speaker stressed.
Choe Hui Chol, chief secretary of the Kujang County Committee of the WPK, in his speech vowed to direct primary efforts to improving the quality of products at the regional-industry factories so as to turn out famous goods with distinctive features of the county favored by the inhabitants as well as to the supply of raw materials and the training of skilled workers so that the Party’s regional development policy can substantially reach the people’s life, and thus take the lead in the drive for developing the regional economy and improving the people’s living standards.

After the ceremony, the participants went round regional-industry factories which have been built to harmonize with the natural and geographical conditions of the county, with modernity, civilization and utility applied.
An art performance was given to congratulate the people of Kujang County on their happy future and a cheerful dancing party was held to add to the joy of the inauguration ceremony.
That evening, fireworks were displayed to celebrate the completion of the regional-industry factories.
