Modern regional-industry factories inaugurated in Usi County of Jagang Province

An inaugural ceremony of regional-industry factories was held in Usi County of Jagang Province on the 25th.
Present at the ceremony were officials and working people in Jagang Province and Usi County, soldier-builders and employees of the factories. Addressing the ceremony, Pak Song Chol, Chief Secretary of the Jagang Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea stressed that a new era of changes is open in this country thanks to the regional development policy representing the noble idea of the great Party Central Committee which regards the people as the God.
He called upon all to work harder with confidence and redoubled courage to successfully implement the regional development policy of the Party and hasten the building of a rich, civilized and prosperous country as early as possible and thus greet the 80th founding anniversary of the WPK with proud labour successes.
Kang Myong Song, Chief Secretary of the Usi County Party Committee, made a speech and employees of the new factories cut the inauguration tape.
An art performance was given and the participants looked round the factories with different kinds of goods produced with locally available raw-material resources.
Fireworks were set off.
