Premier Pak Thae Song received a message of greetings from Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on January 22 on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam.
The message noted that the traditional relations of friendship have been constantly consolidated and developed over the past 75 years.
It stressed that the party, government and people of Viet Nam attach great importance to the traditional friendship between the two parties and the two countries developed by President Ho Chi Minh and President Kim Il Sung and the leaders and peoples of different generations of the two countries with much effort and regard it as a precious asset to be carried forward, defended and displayed by both sides.
In the message the Vietnamese Prime Minister said he is ready to actively promote cooperation between the two countries for the interests of the two peoples, and for peace, stability, cooperation and development of the region and the world and hoped that the fraternal DPRK government and people would continue to achieve great successes in the work for developing the social economy including the 2021-2025 five-year economic development goals and for improving the people's living.
