The regional construction in the new year is under way on a full sale, demonstrating the revolutionary will and decisive action ability of the Workers' Party of Korea which proves with clear plan and perfect implementation the most popular view of state development that the eternal prosperity of the regions is the eternal future of our state and the prospect of Korean-style socialism.

A ground-breaking ceremony for the construction of regional-industry factories and hospital in Ryonggang County took place on the 9th according to the "Regional Development 20×10 Policy".

Present there were Pak Thae Song, Premier of the Cabinet of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, and other senior officials of the Party, the government and the military, service personnel involved in the construction and officials and working people in the city of Nampho and Ryonggang County.

He said the groundbreaking ceremony of the day is the one of declaring the construction for this year, but the future changes seen here are not confined to only one year and we are fully confident that we can change our life by our efforts on this land. He went on to say:

The modern regional-industry factories built simultaneously across the country last year when the new regional development policy of our Party and government was executed are a substantial demonstration of our great achievements. It is a result worthy of pride that all the construction tasks were carried out without fail as planned in the given year while ensuring perfect qualitative level.

We are convinced again through valuable successes of the first year that rebuilding the regional industry on an advanced basis is a gigantic yet profound revolution of realizing the centuries-old desire of the regional people and, at the same time, developing the economy of the country and making changes and innovations in the overall state affairs.

Regional-industry factories and model hospital will be built simultaneously in Ryonggang County this year which entered a new stage of implementing the regional development policy on a expansion basis according to the decisions of the Eleventh Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the WPK.

The construction of modern city and county hospitals according to the noble plan of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un is a very important issue related to the lives and security of the regional people, a crucial work that brooks no delay and an essential undertaking for the comprehensive and sustainable development of the regions.

Premier Pak called for dynamically creating valuable successes of regional rejuvenation for the happy laughter of the people across the country and for the future of the beloved country to prosper forever.
