Pyongyang, February 12 (KCNA) -- A symposium of social scientists took place on February 11 to deeply grasp the undying feats the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un performed by ushering in a new era of regional development and transformation.
Present there were Thae Hyong Chol, president of the Academy of Social Sciences, and officials, teachers and researchers in the fields of science and education and Party cadres training institutions.
The symposium heard papers dealing with the undying feats of Kim Jong Un , who set it as the supreme principle of activities of the Workers' Party of Korea and the state to promote the people's well-being and realize their ideals and ushered in a new era, in which the regions are changing and prospering, with his outstanding ideas and seasoned leadership.
The papers were made public by Kim Myong Hui, a researcher of the WPK Central Cadres Training School, Pang Chol Jin, a researcher of Kim Il Sung University, Choe Jung Son, a teacher of the University of National Economy, and Hwang Kwang Yun, a researcher of the Academy of Social Sciences.
The speakers proved that the regional development policy set forth by Kim Jong Un is a great action programme as it put an end to the centuries-old backwardness of regions and opened up a new history of regional rejuvenation.
They explained that the eye-opening changes in cities and counties across the country are a precious fruition of his revolutionary leadership for devotion to the people.
They stressed the need for the social scientists to fulfill their responsibility and duty in the sacred struggle for upholding his great idea and leadership over the regional development.
It is the first task of social scientists to explain and propagate in a theoretical and profound way his revolutionary ideas to the officials, Party members and other working people and prepare them as passionate loyalists cherishing the ideas of the Party Central Committee as their faith, they said, stressing the need to devote themselves to satisfactorily solving the theoretical and practical problems urgently arising in accelerating the regional rejuvenation. -0-
