Pyongyang, February 12 (KCNA) -- The first year task for the Regional Development 20×10 Policy has been successfully finished with the inauguration of regional-industry factories in Kim Hyong Jik County of the DPRK. An inauguration ceremony of the regional-industry factories in Kim Hyong Jik County took place with splendor on February 11 amid the limelight of the whole country. Present there were officials and working people in Ryanggang Province and Kim Hyong Jik County and soldier-builders. Addressing the ceremony, Ri Thae Il, chief secretary of the Ryanggang Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, said that the present inauguration ceremony is redoubling the conviction in the validity of our cause and optimism about the victory of a new stage. He expressed warm militant salute to the brave service personnel of the construction regiment, who registered proud feats of patriotism and loyalty on the first page of the history of regional development in the new era, and extended warm greetings and congratulations to the officials of relevant units and the province and the county and all the residents in the county full of enthusiasm and confidence for creating a new life. Then, Yun Chang Sik, chief secretary of the Kim Hyong Jik County Committee of the WPK, made a speech. He extended thanks, in reflection of the unanimous mind of all the officials, Party members and working people in the county, to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who provided the admirable entity all the county residents had been waiting for so much. He expressed the firm determination to fully display the spirit of absolute service to the people so that the Party's warm love and benevolence reach the county residents and to turn the county associated with the revolutionary activities of the peerlessly great men into a rich land well-known to the whole country, mindful that the successes in implementing the new regional development policy are guaranteed by the officials' steadfast outlook on the people. Owners of the new factories cut the inauguration tape amid the participants' enthusiastic cheers and applause. An art performance was given to add to the joy of the participants significantly celebrating the great auspicious event for the first time in the county's history. After the ceremony its participants made rounds of the factories. The significant nocturnal sky was splendidly decorated by fireworks blessing the future of the residents in the county to be more prosperous along with the new era of regional rejuvenation opened under the wise guidance of Kim Jong Un.
