Pyongyang, February 13 (KCNA) -- Officials and workers at light industrial establishments in the DPRK are waging a dynamic drive for increased production and economy.
The Ryuwon Footwear Factory installed solar panels on its building and has run them on a normal basis to save electricity and raise the operation rate of equipment, thus ensuring the production on a high level.
Workers and technicians of the Pyongyang Hosiery Factory and the Songyo Knitwear Factory carried out a technical innovation movement for turning several power supply systems into electricity-saving ones, thus reducing the consumption of electricity and raising its efficiency.
The Sinuiju Cosmetics Factory and the Ryongsong Disabled Soldiers' Injection-molded Boots Factory have ensured the normal production by reducing the electricity consumption and organizing the alternated production in an effective way.
Similar progress is witnessed at the Sariwon Textile Mill, the September Textile Mill, the Pyongyang Glasses Factory and the Sinuiju Footwear Factory. -0-
