Pyongyang, February 14 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Il Youth Honor Prize and Kim Jong Il Children Honor Prize were awarded to exemplary primary (sub-primary) youth league committees, officials and members of the youth league and members of the Korean Children's Union (KCU) on the occasion of the greatest national auspicious February holiday, the birth anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il .
According to decrees of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly, Kim Jong Il Youth Honor Prize was conferred on 17 primary (sub-primary) youth league committees and 17 youth league officials and members that distinguished themselves in glorifying the peerlessly great persons' idea of the youth movement and their leadership exploits forever and building up the youth league organizations into strong vanguard ranks faithful to the Workers' Party of Korea and set an example in the defence of the country and socialist construction, the study and the organizational life.
Kim Jong Il Children Honor Prize went to 104 KCU members who have distinguished themselves in the study, organizational life, socio-political activities and good-conduct movement to firmly prepare themselves as true juvenile revolutionaries and patriots boundlessly loyal to the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un .
