Pyongyang, February 14 (KCNA) -- The public catering service activities are further diversified, true to the people’s policy being expanded along with the new era of comprehensive rejuvenation opened by the Central Committee of the great Workers' Party of Korea.
The Guidance Bureau of Public Catering Service has made sure that service units at all levels have introduced advanced service methods while regarding the people's evaluation as an absolute criterion and raised the enthusiasm of the masses by organizing socialist emulation for improving the service conditions and environment and consolidating the foundation of production.
The guidance bureau has held a show on light industrial goods produced by production units every month and evaluated the results to make the show an occasion of sharing experience gained in improving quality and developing new products and of raising the enthusiasm for emulation.
Officials and employees of relevant units set the stage-goals for remodeling service units this year and are putting them into practice.
Various outdoor stalls have been arranged to promote the convenience of guests to suit the seasonal conditions, and the kindness of service workers has been further enhanced. Substantial progress has been made in many public catering and public service units, giving pleasure to the working people.
The guidance bureau has also pushed ahead with the work to modernize production processes at units producing consumer goods and make many good products favored by the people to register them as February 2 goods. -0-
