Young people and students met with socialist patriotic young pioneers at the Youth League Hall on February 14.

The young people, who were honoured with the title of socialist patriotic young pioneers by kindling the flames of setting an example at the posts and worksites entrusted by the Workers’ Party of Korea, made speeches at the meeting.

Kim Chol U, a researcher of the State Academy of Sciences who was awarded the February 16 Science and Technology Prize and the Youth Science and Technology Prize, expressed his gratitude to the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un who proudly put forward him who should work more than what he had done, before the times.

Choe Kuk Jin, a worker of the Ryongsong Machine Complex, said that thanks to the great trust of the Party Central Committee which put forward the workers as heroic working class of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and the eldest son of the country, he could render the impossible possible and invent and manufacture a new jig urgently needed for the production of major custom-built equipment.

Ryu Hyo Jong, a weaver of the Sariwon Textile Mill, said that the embrace of the fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un who brought up with warm affection and put forward her, who lost her parents, as winner of Kim Il Sung Youth Honour Prize, is the embrace of love for all the young people.

The participants were deeply impressed by the speech made by Kim Son Myong, a technical worker of the Samni Farm in Unnyul County who turned 10-odd hectares of low-yielding land into rich paddy-field during the past nine years to reap high-yielding crops.

Kim Won, a worker of the Ragwon General Machine Enterprise, Kim Chung Bok, a driver of the Paegam Mine Timber Production Station under the Ryanggang Provincial Forestry Management Bureau, and Rim Pong Ho, a worker of the Ungok Pit of the Sudong Coal Production Station under the Hamnam Area Coal-mining Complex who are socialist patriotic young pioneers pledged to thoroughly carry out the Party’s decision by waging a dynamic campaign for increased production at worksites and posts, cherishing the love and trust of the Party which put forward them as a model of  virtue and traits as their lifetime assets.

Then followed oath-taking speeches.

Speakers expressed their revolutionary mettle to fully display the spirit and mettle of the young vanguard in the historic advance for ushering in a heyday of comprehensive national prosperity by preparing themselves to be the vanguard in the drive for implementing the Party’s idea and defending the Party’s policies like the socialist patriotic young pioneers.
