Precious Aspiration for Oungum Ensemble

What draws the attention of people particularly in the art performance of the Tongdaewon District Hospital is a female oungum ensemble.
It has been over ten years since medical officials of the hospital learnt to play Oungum.
One day when they were preparing the art performance on the occasion of the significant Shining Star, the birthday of Chairman Kim Jong Il, they decided to put on the stage with particular Oungum program.
Thus, all of them strove to learn how to play Oungum which the Chairman had proposed making it during his revolutionary activities at Kim Il Sung University, guided the whole course one by one and named it.
It was easier said than done for them, most of housewives, to learn Oungum despite busy housework. Whenever they had been tired, officials of the hospital, encouraged them calling on them to significantly greet the February holiday and to make the work site overflow with our cheerful rhythmic. The performers continued to learn difficult renditions one by one even in leisure time of daily work and as well as after returning home.
Thanks to their effort, the Oungum ensemble could be completed successfully to put on the stage and was acclaimed by the audience.
Over ten years have passed since then, but the sound of Oungum is still ringing invariably at the Tongdaewon District Hospital. Their Oungum ensemble frequently puts on the stage of performance given in the district.
This year, too, the female Oungum ensemble the hospital prepared was put on the stage of art performance held in the district to mark the February holiday and touched the hearts of audience.
Through the ensemble, the audience are deeply yearning and boundless reverence for the Chairman Kim Jong Il.
