In our country, there can be found many people who are devoting themselves in their positions, whether they are recognized or not.
Among them is In Jong Sun, a teacher of Rap Islet Branch School of Ponbu Primary School in Sinuiju Municipality under Sinuiju Teachers Training College.
It has been 30 years since she volunteered to work as a teacher on the islet, and until now, she has graduated merely 15 students.
People are surprised at the number of the graduates.
However, she has never regretted her career as a teacher in the islet branch school, but feels pride of it.
Though the islet is one of the smallest part of the country, she regards the islet branch school as her whole life.
So, she never left her job even when the school had no student and would feel the pride in making teaching aids till late at nights for only one student.
In those days, she was honored to receive thanks from Chairman Kim Jong Il.
Afterwards, she had several chances to have photos taken with the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un in national meetings and was awarded the title of Meritorious Person of Socialist Patriotism.
As there is a good teacher behind a good man, all the graduates kept deep in mind the patriotism not only in words but in deeds.
Seeing the teacher who carried heavy cobbles necessary for the construction of branch school climbing up a steep slope and strove to improve the teaching and material foundations of the branch school together with islanders, the students keenly realized what the patriotism is.
Thanks to such devoted people as In Jong Sun, our motherland is strong and steady.
