National seminar held in India on 83rd birth anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il

A national seminar on the theme of "Self-reliance is indispensable in defending national sovereignty and building socialism" took place in New Delhi on February 13 on the occasion of the 83rd birth anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il.
Present there were the director general and the secretary general of the Asian Regional Institute of the Juche Idea, the secretary general of the Indian Society for Juche Idea-Self-Reliance Studies and members of Juche idea study organizations and organizations for friendship and solidarity with the Korean people.
Speeches were made there.
Harish Gupta, vice director general of the International Institute of the Juche Idea and director general of the Asian Regional Institute of the Juche Idea, and other speakers said that the great Comrade Kim Jong Il consistently adhered to the principle of independence in the revolution and construction throughout his life, thus making the DPRK demonstrate its might as an invincible country independent in politics, self-supporting in the economy and self-reliant in national defence.
Many countries of the world fell into crisis and confusion, yielding to the US pressure, but the DPRK has never hesitated in the face of the imperialist threat as it has consistently applied the line of independence, they noted.
They said that the DPRK has dynamically waged the struggle for achieving the comprehensive development of socialism, upholding the banner of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism under the leadership of Comrade Kim Jong Un and, in this course, is working world-startling miracles one after another in all fields.
A congratulatory message to the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un was adopted at the seminar.
