His Earnest Request

One March day in 2014, the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un visited the Ryugyong Dental Hospital.

All the officials, doctors, nurses and other people in the hospital were excited to see the General Secretary unexpectedly.

Looking back upon the past days, the General Secretary had repeatedly inspected the construction site of the hospital and paid deep attention to the work for providing our people with a modern dental hospital.

However, he visited the opened hospital again that day to learn about arising problems.

After taking steps to solve the arising problems, the General Secretary said that it should be the hospital practically treating people and showing the superiority of the socialist public health system in our country, not the ornamental hospital for visits.

His instruction given that day was, indeed, the earnest request that the hospitals in our country should be the people’s hospitals conducive to improving the people’s health.

Most Important and Primary Work

One May day in 2016, the respected General Secretary inspected the construction site of the Medical Oxygen Factory of the Ministry of Public Health.

Looking around the construction site, he said that the builders did a lot of work and the accompanying officials were moved as he had personally set its position and solved all the problems arising in the construction and praised the builders’ labour regardless his painstaking efforts.

That day the General Secretary said that we have a lot of things to do, but among them the work for promotion of the people’s well-being is the most important one and the work of public health is the primary one.

Then he stressed the need to build more medical oxygen factories in different regions.

Like this, the General Secretary puts forward the work for promotion of people’s health as the most important and primary one among numerous state affairs and ceaselessly continues his way of love for and devotion to the people taking steps to improve the work of public health.

His Passionate Sincerity

The respected General Secretary gave a field guidance to the construction of the then Samjiyon County People’s Hospital one October day in 2019.

He gave important instructions to erect the hospital as a model of rural hospitals.

He continued that people of Samjiyon were pleased to see the map showing the bird’s-eye view and plan of the hospital, but they would not know how excellent it was by seeing them. The people of Samjiyon will be gladder when they benefit from the hospital after its perfection, he added in delight.

The accompanying officials were moved to recollect the great efforts the General Secretary made.

Looking around the officials, he said that the construction of the hospital gave him the greatest pleasure, stressing the need to perfect the construction as early as possible.

Looking up to the General Secretary, the officials seemed to picture the excellent medical service facilities increasing in all parts of the country under the leadership of the benevolent father Kim Jong Un who feels the greatest pleasure and pride in the work for the people.
