One July day in 2018 when he visited the construction sites of Samjiyon City of Ryanggang Province, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un was told by an official of the province that it planned to refurbish Hyesan Teachers Training College as good as Pyongyang Teachers Training College.
Kim Jong Un told the accompanied officials that it was necessary to train a large number of talents by improving education in provinces in order to thoroughly implement the Party’s policy for making all the people well versed in science and technology. He continued that it was essential to put the system of teachers training colleges on a scientific and IT basis and introduce advanced education methods in which originality and the Juche character are applied so as to train excellent teachers.
Underlining that local Party organizations should give importance to the improvement of basic education in primary and secondary schools in their counties and that provinces should improve all of their educational bodies with responsibility, Kim Jong Un said that education should be regarded as an important criterion for appraising the provinces.
Like this, wise leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who regards education as an important state affair serves as motive power that enables the DPRK to train the younger generations into comprehensively qualified talents, the pillars for a powerful country, who are prepared politically and ideologically and possessed of high creative abilities, noble moral traits and sound physique.
