The young people of the DPRK have responded to the call of the Workers’ Party of Korea with patriotic practice and burning passion of loyalty throughout the history of the Korean revolution. Recently, over 80 young people of South Phyongan Province volunteered to work at the major fronts of socialist construction.
They expressed their resolve to work in major work sites in the province including the youth shock brigade of a coal mine and county raw-materials base stations.
Their deed is a manifestation of good traits of Korean young people who have grown up in the embrace of the Party, always remaining loyal to the country, faithful to society and the collective and devoted to the future.
A meeting took place in the city of Phyongsong on January 12 to congratulate those who volunteered for difficult and labour-consuming sectors of socialist construction.
Present there were a secretary of the South Phyongan Provincial Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, youth league officials and youth in the city of Phyongsong together with the volunteers.
Certificates of volunteering were awarded to the volunteers amid the enthusiastic applause of the participants and congratulatory speeches were made there.
The speakers said they firmly believe that all the volunteers would fully display the wisdom and valour of the patriotic youth in the present general onward march for the overall development of Korean-style socialist construction, bearing in their mind the trust of the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un, and warmly congratulated them once again.
Officials, youth and students of the province and Phyongsong citizens warmly saw off the volunteers leaving for the fields out of the desire to devote their youth in every difficult and labour-consuming post.
