One day in October 2019, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the renovated Myohyangsan Medical Appliances Factory.
Entering the compound of the factory he said with satisfaction: The factory has changed beyond recognition since I visited it last year; its interior and exterior have been spruced up as befits a model factory in the medical sector; its architectural style is good and its environment is clean.
That day he highly appreciated that the factory had been turned into an advanced one capable of mass-producing modern operating table, obstetric table, ENT chair, universal dentist’s chair and other kinds of high-performance medical appliances which are badly needed in hospitals.
Then he tested the products one by one, acquainting himself with their performance.
He personally sat on a bed for diagnosing and a general dentist’s chair to try them and said: The sponge seems a little too hard; because patients have to lean their heads back for a long time when they receive treatment, it is necessary to make the headrest soft and comfortable.
Thanks to his meticulous concern, the factory could be developed into a model and iconic factory playing the pacesetter role in the country’s medical appliances industry.
