The whole country is changing. A great prosperous era of regional rejuvenation is turning into proud reality. More insightful and dynamic revolutionary tasks are being successively undertaken in wider scope to promote the well-being of the people. At such an eye-opening age, we are celebrating the 115 th anniversary of March 8 International Women’s Day.

Women of our country are marking the March 8 International Women’s Day in this great era of promoting civilization. They are respectfully expressing their thanks to President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il who created the social atmosphere of giving primary attention to women and respecting them. Our women are strengthening their resolve to devote all their wisdom and enthusiasm to the struggle to bring everlasting prosperity to the fatherland and realize overall national development following the leadership of respected Comrade Kim Jong Un .

They were there in every great era. In every notable places which demonstrate our Republic’s prestige and national power, our women stood firm with patriotic devotion supporting the mainstay of our mighty country. In every august monumental edifice of our fatherland, the unyielding Korean women have distinctly displayed their indomitable fighting spirit.

They have selflessly rushed to crucial fields of socialist construction leaving behind their dear hometowns should the Party call them. They have faithfully remained in their posts to safeguard our fatherland clad in uniforms of revolution and have defended the frontlines alongside their husbands. There are female innovators and scientists who over-fulfill their national economic plans each year and sportswomen who kept the flag flying for our Republic by winning victory after victory in international games. The merits of our women who entrusted their destiny to the fatherland and invariably followed the glorious path of building a prosperous nation with an invincible army will go down forever in the history of the country.

Korean-style socialism is making dynamic advance and progress and our national power is increasing with each passing day. Such achievements are inconceivable apart from the loyal and patriotic spirit of our women who took charge of one of the wheels of the revolution and unbendingly steering it towards victory under the guidance of the Party Central Committee.

Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un awarded the noble title of “communist mothers” to women who made great contributions to the prosperity of the fatherland and the continuity of the revolution with unswerving loyalty and patriotic devotion and called them forth to the platform of honor of the National Conference of Mothers, a proud meeting of Korean women. He regards our women as the flowers of the era, revolution, family and society and bestows them all the love and benevolence in his care.

Just as the sunlight gives life to all things and makes every flowers bloom, the great Kim Jong Un era - adorned with its invincible vitality, inexhaustible potential and miraculous victory and glory – enables our women to enjoy the most dignified and happy lives with pride and due rights. Under his all-embracing care, they are becoming genuine female revolutionaries and staunch patriots.

The great Kim Jong Un era will shine forever as the era of glory when all the long-cherished desire and aspirations of our nation will turn into reality. In this era, our women will add limitless vitality, vibrant energy, glory and victory to our great fatherland with their ardent loyalty and patriotic devotion.
