Pyongyang, March 17 (KCNA) -- The fifth meeting of headquarters chairpersons of the 25th Congress of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) was held at the Korean Hall in Tokyo on March 12.
Present there were Chairman Ho Jong Man, First Vice-Chairman and Director of the Organizational Department Pak Ku Ho and vice-chairpersons of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee, the chairman of the Central Audit Committee of Chongryon, members of the Central Standing Committee of Chongryon and chairpersons of headquarters of Chongryon. Councilors and vice department directors of the Central Committee of Chongryon attended the meeting as observers.

The main work orientation of Chongryon for this year is to launch an offensive campaign for comprehensively carrying through the important letter sent by the respected Marshal Kim Jong Un to the participants in the 25th Congress of Chongryon and thus provide a sure guarantee for implementing the decision of the Congress, the reporter said.
He called upon the chairpersons of headquarters to unconditionally carry out the major tasks for this year, the last year of implementing the decision of the 25th Congress of Chongryon, overcoming all difficulties, true to the noble idea and intention of Kim Jong Un who indicated the main orientation of Chongryon work for this year.
He stressed the need for the chairpersons of Chongryon headquarters to activate all the basic organizations this year marking the 70th anniversary of Chongryon through powerful political work and scrupulous organizational work and thus turn Chongryon into a powerful organization invariably carrying forward the tradition of patriotism and loyalty, deeply rooted among the compatriots.
