The Workers' Party of Korea put forward a new line of building itself up in the new era for achieving the overall development of socialism and strives for its implementation.
The line of building up the Party in the new era was clarified by the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the WPK, in his historic lecture at the Central Cadres Training School of the WPK on October 17, 2022.
October 17 is the day when the Down-with-Imperialism Union (DIU), the origin of the Korean revolution and the historic root of the WPK, was formed.
Giving a lecture on the significant day, Kim Jong Un set forth the line which guarantees the eternal prosperity of the Party building in the new era.
The WPK has so far strengthened the whole Party organizationally and ideologically by holding fast to and implementing the building of organization, ideology and leadership art and achieved great victories in all fields of the revolution and construction while resolutely overcoming difficulties by arousing the masses of the people.
In his historic lecture, Kim Jong Un instructed on strengthening and developing the WPK into the party politically mature, organizationally strong, ideologically pure, strict in discipline and sound in work style to meet the requirements of the new era. In a word, the building of politics, organization, ideology, discipline and work style is the direction of our Party building in the new era, he said.
This five-point building line, new direction of Party building, shows the path of the WPK.
Kim Jong Un comprehensively expounded the principled issues arising in enhancing the leadership authority of the Party, further complementing the political character in the Party work, steadily and organizationally consolidating the Party and the revolutionary ranks and making the ideological work more appealing and effective.
He also called for establishing a correct and powerful discipline system in the Party and carrying on the communist work style peculiar to the WPK.
He stressed once again that it should be the mode of existence and the mode of revolution of our Party to deepen the trust of the people and purify its climate by regarding the people as the God and making devoted efforts for them and to attain a higher goal by dint of the single-hearted unity of the Party and the people.
The WPK will add eternal brilliance to its dignity as the longest ruling party, holding fast to the line of building up the Party in the new era clarified by Kim Jong Un.
