Students in their final year at senior middle schools in the city of Nampho also turned out to join the army.
Those of the Susan and Paekryong senior middle schools in Kangso District volunteered to serve at border posts on the forefront, hardening their resolve to settle accounts by arms with the US imperialists and the class enemies who perpetrated brutal atrocities in their hometowns during the past Fatherland Liberation War and to become reliable and honourable defenders of the country and people.
A lot of other students in the city including Onchon County, Chollima District and Ryonggang County volunteered to join the People's Army with high enthusiasm to safeguard their native places and the precious motherland at the risk of their lives.
