Pyongyang, March 26 (KCNA) -- A hundred and tens of engine drivers at the Ministry of Railways of the DPRK have over-fulfilled their first quarterly plans amid the brisk drive to transport more materials to the grand economic construction theaters.
More than 100 engine drivers of several engine service brigades under the Pyongyang Railway Bureau carried out the first quarterly plan ahead of schedule and are striving to accomplish their first half-yearly and yearly plans earlier than scheduled.
Engine drivers of the Kaechon Engine Service Brigade under the Kaechon Railway Bureau and the Cholsong Engine Service Brigade under the Chongjin Railway Bureau, in touch with dispatchers of relevant stations and railway bureaus, frequently check the state of loading and reduce the stoppage time at the departing and arriving stations to transport a lot of materials to different sectors of the national economy.
Those of engine service brigades under the Hamhung Railway Bureau and the Rason Railway Bureau have increased the rate of locomotive operations by conducting inspections on a normal basis while registering high results in freight transport. -0-
