Pyongyang, March 27 (KCNA) -- Members of the February 17 Shock Brigade of Scientists and Technicians, dispatched to the non-permanent central committee for promoting Regional Development 20×10 Policy, are conducting research activities to successfully implement the regional development policy of the Workers' Party of Korea through science and technology.
Scientists of Kim Il Sung University successfully solved the sci-tech problems arising in the development of essential oils.
Those of the State Academy of Sciences introduced a profitable innovation into the soap production line at a daily necessities factory, and those of the Food and Consumer Goods Research Institute under the Ministry of Regional Industry calculated the standard index value for raising the quality of wheat paste.
Pyongyang Han Tok Su University of Light Industry resolved the irrational problems in the packing line at a foodstuff factory, in cooperation with scientists and technicians from various units in Jagang Province, thus contributing to improving the quality of foodstuff.
Scientists and technicians of Pyongyang University of Mechanical Engineering and various units of Kangwon Province solved the problems arising in the soy and bean paste production line by devising and introducing a rational equipment-manufacturing innovation. And scientists of Pyongyang Jang Chol Gu University of Commerce resolved the problems arising in the operation of sewing equipment at worksites and improved the workers' technique and skills.
The Academy of Forest Science has conducted a brisk campaign to provide a sci-tech guarantee for increasing the timber production in the forests for paper materials. -0-
