Pyongyang, April 8 (KCNA) -- The all-people advancing spirit for greeting the Ninth Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea as the one of victors and glory is mounting in the DPRK with passing days.

The workers of the Sangwon Cement Complex recorded the highest monthly production results in January after the start of its operation for the new year. They registered high production results in February, too, and carried out the first quarterly plan ahead of schedule.

Amid the campaign for increased production and economy across the country, the first quarterly plan was carried out in metallurgical, chemical, electric power, coal mining, machine-building industry, railway transport and other major sectors and units of the national economy and the overall industrial output has grown considerably as compared with the same period of last year.
