Pyongyang, April 12 (KCNA) -- Premieres of the Ninth April Spring People's Art Festival were given at theatres and halls in Pyongyang, the capital city of the DPRK, on Friday.
Enjoying the performances were members of the festival organizing committee and officials, working people and youth and students in Pyongyang.
Put on the stages of performances given by art group members from industrial establishments, farms and other units across the country were monumental hymns praising the peerlessly great men and famous songs of the times reflecting the indomitable stamina and ideological and moral world of the heroic Korean people.
Performances by art group members from Changsong County, the Sangwon Cement Complex, the Kangson Vinyl Sheet Factory and the Sariwon Disabled Soldiers' Sewing Thread Factory were given at the East Pyongyang Grand Theatre and the Pyongyang Grand Theatre.
The performances were highly acclaimed by the audience as they were full of boundless reverence for the peerlessly great men and of the revolutionary zeal to further intensify a drive for increased production and economy by making the flames of the creation of Chollima spirit in the new era.
Performances, given at the People's Palace of Culture and the Central Youth Hall by art group members of the Taean Heavy Machine Complex, the Kyongsong Electric Appliances Plant, the Ryanggang Provincial Foreign Trade Administration Bureau and the Jungphyong Greenhouse Farm, revved up the atmosphere of celebrating the April holiday.
The performances gave deep impression to the audience as they well depicted in an ideological and artistic way the endless joy and happiness of the Korean people leading the most worthwhile life by holding the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un as the father of the great family of the country.
Art group members from the Chongchongang Thermal Power Plant, the Ryongchon Fruit Farm in Pukchong County, the Kyenam Stockbreeding Farm of the South Hwanghae Provincial Rural Economy Committee and the East Pyongyang Thermal Power Plant gave their performances at the Cultural Hall of the Ministry of Railways and the Central Hall of Workers.
The performances well showed the revolutionary stamina and optimism of all the people in the country who are dynamically opening up a new era of comprehensive national prosperity under the leadership of General Secretary Kim Jong Un , holding President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il in high esteem for all ages. -0-
