Pyongyang, April 15 (KCNA) -- A performance "Song of Happiness, Resound Further" by art group members of the Pyongyang Schoolchildren's Palace was given at the Pyongyang Municipal Youth Park Open-Air Theatre on Monday to celebrate the 113th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung .
Among the audience were Kim Jong Sun, department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, Mun Chol, chairman of the Central Committee of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League, officials concerned, officials of the youth league, students of Mangyongdae Revolutionary School and Kang Pan Sok Revolutionary School and schoolchildren in Pyongyang.
The performance began with prologue "Eternal April Holiday under the Care of the Marshal" amid boundless reverence for the great leader Generalissimo Kim Il Sung who took the best care of children and made ceaseless journey of love and devotion for the bright future of the rising generations.
The performers represented through colorful numbers the joy and optimism of schoolchildren across the country greeting the eternal spring holiday of happiness.
Folk chorus "Our Father Is the Best" and female solo and dance "Yearning for the Marshal" were acclaimed by the audience as they represented the high honor and happiness of schoolchildren across the country holding in high esteem the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un possessed of the noble outlook on the rising generations.
The performance well represented the high enthusiasm of schoolchildren to prepare themselves as pillars supporting thriving Korea. -0-
