Pyongyang, April 18 (KCNA) -- A project for sprucing up parks and pleasure grounds is propelled in different parts of the DPRK.
More than 100 parks and pleasure grounds have been newly built or remodeled across the country since last year.
In Pyongyang, sports parks and open-air sports grounds were newly built on Unha and Kumran islets of the Pothong River.
Wonsan City in Kangwon Province spruced up the appearance of the city coastal park with an area of tens of thousands of square meters.
A fountain park appeared in the area of Songchon-dong in Hoeryong City of North Hamgyong Province, adding pleasure to the citizens.
The Paekun Park in Sinuiju City of North Phyongan Province, the Namhung Children's Park in Anju City of South Phyongan Province and other parks and pleasure grounds across the country have been newly built to contribute to the cultural and emotional life of the people. -0-
