Pyongyang, April 18 (KCNA) -- A meeting was held on the spot on April 17 to mark the 70th founding anniversary of the Korean Industrial Art Studio.
Present there were Kim Tok Hun, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials concerned and officials and employees of the studio.
At the meeting, Kim Tok Hun conveyed a congratulatory message of the WPK Central Committee to the creators and officials of the studio.
The WPK Central Committee in the message said that the Korean Industrial Art Studio achieved fame and exploits as a prestigious industrial art creation organ under the extraordinary wisdom and meticulous guidance of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il and that the precious struggle of the preceding generations who contributed to adhering to and cultivating the true picture of socialism by defending the honourable post entrusted by the Party has been recorded as precious pages in the history of the studio.
The message noted that the past decade when an era of great change was opened in socialist construction and epochal progress was made in the Juche-oriented industrial art was the honorable days during which the studio recorded the most brilliant heyday in its history.
The message stressed it is a manifestation of the prestige and potentiality of the studio as a mother base for industrial art as well as clear evidence showing the steadfast mental world and revolutionary fighting spirit of its creative group perfect in implementing the Party's policies that it has created many peculiar designs of Korean-style, excellent industrial art pieces helpful to bettering the living environment of our people conveniently and beautifully and thus made a positive contribution to bringing about a change in the new era.
It extended warm congratulations to all the creators and officials of the studio who are making great successes in their creative work while taking the lead in realizing the Party's far-reaching plan with patriotic loyalty.
