Celebration meetings took place in Myanmar, Norway, Denmark, Bulgaria, Switzerland, Sweden, the UK, Austria, Finland and Mexico from April 3 to 12 on the occasion of the 113th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung.

Speeches were made at the meetings attended by political and social figures and other people of those countries.

Personages of the Myanmar Journalist Association, the Bulgaria-Korea Friendship Association, the Switzerland-Korea Committee and the Society for the Promotion of the Relations between Austria and the DPRK said that the ardent reverence for President Kim Il Sung, the peerlessly great man, is growing deeper in all parts of the world with every April holiday as an occasion.

They praised the great President Kim Il Sung as the prominent leader who guided the DPRK to victory and glory, the benevolent father of the people, peerless statesman and the greatest man in the 20th century who made immortal contributions to the cause of independence against imperialism.

The chairperson of the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea said that one of the most brilliant exploits of President Kim Il Sung was that he built Korean socialism into people-centred socialism based on the Juche idea, not just a copy of other countries. The general secretary of the New Communist Party of Britain recollected with deep emotion the unforgettable days when he met the fatherly leader for the first time and was impressed with his noble personality as the peerlessly great man.

The general secretary of the Central Committee of the People's Socialist Party of Mexico referred to the noble revolutionary career and immortal exploits of President Kim Il Sung and said in detail that the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un is leading the struggle for reliably defending the sovereignty of the country to victory by bolstering up the national defence capabilities in every way.

The chairman of the Ostfold County Committee of the Communist Party of Norway, the chairman of the Denmark-DPRK Friendship Association, the chairman of the Sweden-Korea Friendship Association and the international secretary of the Finnish Communists' League called President Kim Il Sung an outstanding thinker and theoretician and a great practitioner who showed the road ahead of mankind with the brilliant rays of Juche and energetically worked for the victorious advance of the Korean revolution and the global cause of socialism.

Congratulatory messages to the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un were adopted at the celebration meetings in Norway, Denmark, Switzerland, Sweden, the UK and Finland.
