Pyongyang, April 20 (KCNA) -- The Jungphyong Greenhouse Farm in the DPRK is conducting a drive to produce more tasty and nutritious vegetables.
The officials and employees of the farm have increased their production results 1.2 times as compared with the same period of last year by introducing scientific farming methods.
The farm is pushing ahead with the work to secure high-yielding strains of seeds and raise the technical knowledge and skills of its employees in a methodical way.
It has introduced cylindrical vegetable cultivation device, established a system for recycling nutrients and installed various colors of lighting devices effective for the growth of vegetables to increase productivity while saving costs.
Employees are increasing the per-hectare yield by supplying scientific nutrients according to species and managing the environment suitable for growth in a responsible manner.
They are raising the per-unit-area yield by introducing inter after-cropping and inter-cropping while managing fields tenaciously. -0-
