One day in April 1988, Chairman Kim Jong Il heard a report on the fact that a young miner was on the verge of death.
The patient was unconscious, and even doctors were losing confidence in the face of severe fatal injuries.
The Chairman gave a hospital concerned the task to prolong the patient's life as long as possible until the medical team of Pyongyang arrives, and took a measure that competent doctors in Pyongyang make the preparations for first aid and leave there.
As soon as the doctors arrived on the spot, they started an operation and prolonged his life as a stopgap measure. They reported the results to the Chairman.
The Chairman sent a helicopter to bring the patient to Pyongyang and made sure that the doctors take careful measures to prevent accidental symptoms during the flight.
However, the helicopter carrying the patient began to jolt due to the sudden strong wind.
At that time, the helicopter received a radio wave on landing at the nearest airport.
The Chairman, who foresaw that the helicopter can shake due to the severe weather, sent a large passenger plane again which wouldn't jolt by the wind.
He also took meticulous measures such as arranging a treatment room inside the passenger plane and making doctors stand ready with medicines at the airport where the two planes would land and give intermediate medical treatment assistance.
Thanks to the measure of love taken by the Chairman, the miner recovered consciousness within ten-odd days after he arrived in Pyongyang, and then he was completely cured and went back to his post.
The Chairman is the benevolent leader of the people who valued every one of them and took care of them and defended them with his warm love. -0-
