One day in August 2013, the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un visited the Masikryong Ski Resort under construction.
Officials reported to the General Secretary, who is acquainting himself in detail with the construction state of the Masikryong Hotel, about the project plan to decorate some parts of the interior and the exterior of the hotel with log patterns.
But the General Secretary shook his head lightly. The officials didn't know the reason, because he had already given instructions to decorate the interior and the exterior of the building with log patterns in order to preserve the characteristics of mountainous areas.
Looking around the officials, the General Secretary said that when he entered the construction site of the ski resort just now, he saw the log patterns being embossed with cement on the exterior walls of some buildings, and if so, they would look like logs from a distance, but it can be quickly known that they would be not logs when seeing them from a short distance and that, in a word, they could be "beautiful from a distance".
Officials lightly laughed out.
After a while, the General Secretary said that the buildings should be decorated with real logs and if so, they would be well matched with the scenery of the ski resort in the mountainous areas, and taught the way one by one.
Like this, the buildings of the ski resort are associated with his noble intention that there should not be any slight shortcomings in the work for the people. -0-
