Pyongyang, April 23 (KCNA) -- Officials and members of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea (UAWK) are conducting mobile repair service team activities in all the fields bubbling over with the enthusiasm for increasing grain production.

The Pyongyang Municipal Committee of the UAWK has reinforced the mobile repair service teams, secured the necessary accessories, conducted intensive repairs and maintenance and thus pushed ahead with the work to increase the operation rate of farm machines in every field in a planned way.

Officials of the UAWK committees in Chongdan and Anak counties of South Hwanghae Province took the lead in making innovations and resolved problems arising in the mobile repair service team activities in time.

Members of mobile repair service teams in Kowon and Kumya counties of South Hamgyong Province learned about the technical state of farm machines of the relevant farms and repaired rice-transplanting machines in a responsible manner. They also provided the farms with lots of farming materials.

UAWK organizations in North Phyongan, Kangwon and Jagang provinces intensified collective discussions to solve technical problems arising in repairing farm machines in time and explored and tapped internal reserves to finish the repair and maintenance of tractors at the relevant farms ahead of schedule.

Anju, Kaechon and Sunchon city UAWK committees in South Phyongan Province are putting efforts into improving the performance of machines while securing various kinds of accessories by themselves by arousing patriotism among their members. -0-
