The Korean people call the Workers' Party of Korea mother.
Because the Party shows all affection and sincerity to the people as the mother loves her children.
In October 2022, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the WPK, visited the Central Cadres Training School of the WPK and gave a historic lecture. In the lecture, he proudly said the WPK was born to defend the interests of the working masses and has struggled to provide them with a happy life since its founding and therefore, the people follow the Party, calling it mother.
He emphasized on several other occasions that our Party should become a motherly party serving the people devotedly.
He puts forward the lines and policies for a happier and civilized life of the people and devotes himself to their realization.
New streets have been built every year since 2022 true to his plan for building 50,000 flats in Pyongyang, adding pleasure to the people.
Sol Yong Chol, member of the headquarters for building 50,000 flats in Pyongyang, said the inaugural ceremony of 10,000 flats at the third stage in the Hwasong area took place with splendour on April 15, and continued:
"The respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un took part in the inaugural ceremony that day. He met working people and aged persons who would move into new flats and said he was firmly determined to take upon himself more tasks for the people while seeing the citizens full of emotion and joy today. And he wished them happy life in good health in the new houses."
Last year, rehabilitation projects were powerfully promoted in the flood-hit areas and all the flood victims settled in the new houses under the warm care of Kim Jong Un.
State policies for the rising generations are legalized and implemented without fail, so that all the mothers across the country realize their desire to bring up their children to have nothing to envy in the world and the people are leading a happy life in this country.
That's why the Korean people absolutely trust and follow the WPK, calling it mother.
The people's reverence for Kim Jong Un is growing day by day along with the dear appellation of motherly party.
