38th National Sci-Tech Festival closes

The 38th National Sci-Tech Festival came to a close.

Valuable successes and experiences conducive to the economic development of the country and the improvement of the people's living were exchanged and there were sectional sci-tech seminars and presentations and technical lectures on practical issues for ensuring the successful completion of the five-year plan and the realization of the regional development policy of the new era in a scientific and technological way.

The closing ceremony was held at the Sci-Tech Complex on the 7th.

Present there were Choe Tong Myong, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials concerned and working people.

A result of general examination was made public at the ceremony.

Diplomas, trophy cups, medals and prizes were awarded to the excellent units and individuals.

Kim Song Bin, Chairman of the State Commission of Science and Technology, made a closing address.
