Members of artistic motivation teams of the women's union conducted fresh motivation activities for increased production at the construction sites of regional-industry factories in Sinyang and Pukchang counties and other areas, encouraging the soldier-builders.
This year more than 3 000 women in the province including hundreds of women's union members of the Tukjang Area Coal Mining Complex have volunteered to work at coal mines, mines, raw materials bases and other units.
Officials and members of the women's union in the coal mines in the province are dynamically conducting the shock brigade activities to consolidate the outpost of the self-supporting economy and spruce up the appearance of the region.

The Phyongsong City Committee of the Socialist Women's Union of Korea and other organizations of the women's union in the province sent tens of thousands of tons of organic fertilizer and 10 000 pieces of small farm implements to farms.
