Pyongyang, May 15 (KCNA) -- The Onpho Working People's Holiday Camp, a comprehensive cultural recreation base and treatment service base, has been under construction in Kyongsong County of North Hamgyong Province, a famous hot spring area and a scenic mountainous area of the DPRK.
True to the intention of the Workers' Party of Korea to build cultural recreation grounds and sanatoriums well-harmonized with beautiful natural scenery in famous mountains and scenic spots for the promotion of the people's health, paradise of civilization has been built in excellent places across the country.
The DPRK people still remember the days when the Yangdok Hot Spring Resort was being built as a peculiar service base for the people by the direct initiative and meticulous guidance of the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un .
The respected General Secretary unfolded a bright blueprint for the construction of the hot spring resort which no one had ever seen and heard till then and led to build it at the highest qualitative level in keeping with the people's aspirations, demands and aesthetic feelings, and world trend.
People also recollect with deep emotion the fact that he, who dipped his hand in tens of degrees Celsius water gushing out from the hot spring with a broad smile on his face, initiated the construction of the skiing ground and confirmed its location, considering the temperature of the snowy Yangdok area.
Thanks to the loving care of the respected General Secretary who devotes himself to the wellbeing of people, many bases for cultural and leisure activities of the people such as the Rungna People's Pleasure Park, the Munsu Water Park and the Mirim Riding Club have been built in the country.
Last year, he visited the Wonsan Kalma area being turned into a splendid and beautiful cultural tourist resort for the people, and took important measures related to the preparations for operation. In March, he also left sacred traces in the construction site of the Onpho Working People's Holiday Camp for the wellbeing of the people.
True to his instruction on making the people enjoy a civilized cultural and emotional life and receive hot-spring therapy, the construction of the Onpho Working People's Holiday Camp is progressing at the final stage. -0-
