Mirae Scientists Street

Pyongyang, May 20 (KCNA) -- is situated on the bank of the River Taedong in Pyongyang. The street has various shapes of houses including a skyscraper with symbolic tower on the top of inimitable electron orbit-shaped roof and an apartment building depicting a sailboat, public buildings and service facilities. The street was successfully built thanks to the warm love and meticulous guidance of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who regards the scientists and educators as precious treasures of the country. One day in May 2014 when he gave field guidance at the construction site of apartment houses for educators of Kim Chaek University of Technology, Kim Jong Un unfolded a grand plan to build a modern scientists street on the bank of the River Taedong and named the street to be newly built "". Afterwards, he took a measure to reinforce the construction force and solved all problems arising in speeding up the project. He personally guided the construction of not only on the spot but also in the sky as a builder and operator. Stressing the need to successfully build street into the one to be handed down to posterity for long, he said that all the structures should be built in a unique way so that they can be symbolic of the street of scientists while preserving their peculiar features and appearances. When visiting the completed , he said with great satisfaction that teachers and researchers could move into new houses with only their hand luggage. Now ordinary scientists and educators are leading a happy life at the houses like palace in that they received free of charge.
