Respected Marshal Kim Jong Un Receives Letter of Thanks from Chongryon Central Standing Committee

Pyongyang, May 27 (KCNA) -- The respected Marshal Kim Jong Un received a letter of thanks from the Central Standing Committee of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) on May 25. The letter said that all the officials of Chongryon and Koreans in Japan are deeply moved by the great loving care and solicitude shown by the respected Marshal, who sent the important letter "Let Us Write a New Great Chapter in the History of the Movement of Koreans in Japan by Carrying Forward the Patriotic Spirit of the Founder Generation" to glorify the 70th anniversary of the foundation of Chongryon on the highest level, though he is very busy energetically leading the great general advance in the historic year marking the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Workers' Party of Korea. The letter said that the historic letter serves as important guidelines for the movement of Koreans in Japan in the glorious era of Kim Jong Un and the banner of sure victory as it comprehensively indicates the general orientation and main work to make a new great history of the movement of Koreans in Japan and ways for carrying them out by inheriting the traditions of loyalty, unity and love for their country and nation created by the founder generation of Chongryon. The respected Marshal said that carrying forward the traditions means inheriting the spirit and creating a more wonderful history and the heritage of the founder generation are mirrored in the appearance of the community of compatriots the descendants who have assumed the mission of carrying them forward are building up. Regarding his instruction as a supreme order, we will conduct a bold struggle by setting the decade to the 80th anniversary of the foundation of Chongryon as a new period of struggle for making sure progress in carrying forward the tradition with the 70th founding anniversary of Chongryon as a turning point, the letter said. The Chongryon Central Standing Committee in the letter wished the respected Marshal Kim Jong Un good health for the victory of the revolutionary cause of Juche and the patriotic cause of Chongryon, reflecting the ardent loyalty and boundless reverence of all Chongryon officials and Koreans in Japan.
