The 21st Congress of the World Federation of Democratic Youth held in Namibia expressed full support to the just cause of the Korean people and youth.
The "Solidarity Statement of the World Federation of Democratic Youth to the Korean People and Youth Fighting for Independence, Justice and Socialism" adopted on May 24 disclosed the fact that the situation of the Korean peninsula is unprecedentedly strained and aggravated these days owing to the reckless and despicable hostile policy of the United States towards the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
The statement said the reality of the DPRK shows that all the countries can win the anti-imperialist struggle when they have a tremendous strength to smash the aggressive moves of the imperialists.
To prevent war and ensure durable peace on the Korean peninsula is a contribution to defending peace and security of the world, the statement said and sent full support and solidarity to the just cause of the DPRK people and youth devotedly fighting for independence, justice and socialism and for development of the world youth movement.
The statement strongly demanded the United States put an immediate end to the immoral and aggressive nuclear war exercises it conducts against the DPRK every year and withdraw at once all sorts of nuclear strategic assets threatening the situation of the Korean peninsula and the region.
