It is a firm will of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un to hasten the overall development of socialism with the might of science and technology.
One day in January 2012, Kim Jong Un said to officials that they should attach importance to science and technology, and continued: Science and technology are the motive force which enables us to overtake others, skipping over the stages of development made by others for tens of years. When we give precedence to science and technology and conduct the overall economic work according to the scientific and technological demands, it is possible to revitalize production and realize technical reconstruction with success.
The instructions he gave that day reflected his great will to bring about epoch-making changes by dint of science and technology.
Whenever he gives field guidance to different units, Kim Jong Un leads them to attach importance to science and technology and conduct all the work by relying on them.
At a farm, he emphasized scientific farming and when guiding the work of sports sector, he underscored the need to put the sports events on a scientific basis. While looking round a fish farm, he said fish farming should be developed in a scientific way in accordance with the world trend of development of pisciculture.
He made sure that the officials and working people always give precedence to science and technology in doing something and make state-of-the-art products.
He saw to it that a well-organized science and technology disseminating system is established in the whole society and the producer masses conduct a persistent work to acquire knowledge of advanced science and technology. And he always paid deep concern to the dissemination of science and technology at the units he visited.
Thanks to his wise leadership, ordinary working people as well as scientists grew to be excellent talents and intellectual-type working people to form powerful scientific and technical forces and the sci-tech successes made by them came to be greatly conducive to building a powerful socialist country.
