Pyongyang, June 12 (KCNA) -- The Central Artistic Motivation Agency in the DPRK has made a contribution to implementing the Workers' Party of Korea's line of attaching importance to ideology and policy of popularizing art, true to the line and policy, and adds luster to the 45-year-long development course.
The agency has produced and disseminated more than 20 000 popular art pieces and thousands of programs for information activities by loudspeaker vans in the past period, thus making the songs of revolution and struggle resound far and wide in all worksites of socialist construction.
In June 1980, Chairman Kim Jong Il saw to it that the Central Artistic Motivation Agency was organized and clearly indicated the orientation and ways for increasing the power of the art and radio motivation and popular art activities.
The foundation of the agency provided a nationwide center for creating and disseminating the popular art pieces and for the radio motivation activities in order to make art prevail throughout the country and popularize art.
Thanks to the energetic guidance and meticulous care of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un , the agency has further developed into a major unit of the Party's ideological front and a powerful creative group conducive to the development of the popular art in the new era of the Juche revolution.
Comrade Kim Jong Un has given instructions on the themes of works on several occasions and established a system for widely disseminating the created works.
The officials and employees of the agency have faithfully supported the Party's policy on literature and art with their creative thinking and enthusiasm, bearing in mind the trust and expectation of the Party Central Committee. -0-
