Pyongyang, July 4 (KCNA) -- A Serbian political party and a Danish organization issued statements on June 25 on the occasion of the June 25-July 27 month of anti-U.S. joint struggle.
The Serbian Communist Party said in a statement that it paid the highest tribute to President Kim Il Sung who wisely led the DPRK people to a brilliant victory in the war against the U.S. imperialists.
It also paid regards to the Workers' Party of Korea inspiring all the DPRK people to the struggle for opposing imperialism and the U.S. and defending socialism under the leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un .
The statement said that it is the solemn duty of the communists to fight against capitalism, especially U.S. imperialism, and the DPRK set a good example in the struggle.
The Denmark-DPRK Friendship Association said in a statement that June 25 this year was the day when the U.S. ignited a war against the DPRK 75 years ago with a purpose of conquering the newly emerging independent country by force of arms.
The DPRK people repelled the imperialists' aggression and defended freedom and independence of the country under the leadership of Comrade Kim Il Sung , the great revolutionary, the statement said, and went on:
The U.S. has not yet abandoned its ambition for aggression.
The U.S. poses a constant threat to peace and security on the Korean peninsula in conspiracy with the ROK government, scheming to stifle the DPRK, the socialist fortress.
However, the DPRK people do not yield to it.
Their struggle to bolster up the military capability for self-defence and defend peace in the forefront of the anti-imperialist struggle gives a great courage to the world people.
We extend solidarity to the DPRK people fighting against imperialism. -0-
