Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, visited the Friendship Tower on July 26 on the occasion of the 72nd anniversary of victory in the Fatherland Liberation War.

A wreath in the name of Kim Jong Un was laid before the tower.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said that we will never forget the combat feats and merits of the fallen fighters of the Chinese People's Volunteers recorded in the history of the great victory in the Fatherland Liberation War.

He was accompanied by Choe Son Hui, foreign minister of the DPRK, and Kim Song Nam, director of the International Department of the WPK Central Committee.
