Pyongyang, August 6 (KCNA) -- Various kinds of Choljuk-trademarked socks sold at the commercial service units, including Pyongyang Department Store No. 1, are winning popularity among the people.
The socks produced at the Pyongyang Hosiery Factory are popular for their good quality and smartness.
The Choljuk-trademarked socks are associated with the warm loving care of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who has made efforts to provide the people with better daily necessities.
Visiting the factory one day in August 2014, Kim Jong Un acquainted himself in detail with the production and the quality of products and gave instructions to improve the management and operation of the factory.
He said that as the demand for socks varies according to season, trend, age and sex distinction, the factory should produce the goods suited to the tastes and characteristics of the people.
Advising officials of their wrong opinion that they were content with the mass-production of socks, he said that the socks should be produced in good quality and in a smart and diverse way. And he added that the trademark designs should be steadily updated and the products packed up well.
In the past, the factory introduced advanced technology to increase the variety of ground threads and installed the updated operation program of hosiery machine at the equipment, thus mass-producing new good products.
As the factory reflected the world trend in designs, more than 300 hosiery designs were introduced into production to develop new products in the first half of last year.
The Choljuk-trademarked socks are popular among the people for their diversity and good quality. -0-
