Most important policy

It happened one day in December 2014.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the Pyongyang Children’s Foodstuff Factory and learned in detail about the production and management activities while looking round different places of the factory.

After a while, he said that among the policies of the Workers’ Party of Korea to produce and supply children’s foodstuffs is a policy that should be implemented preferentially without missing and that there are many policies and the most important among them is to give top priority to the production of children’s foodstuffs.

He recollected with deep emotion the fact that Chairman Kim Jong Il saw that raw materials continued to be supplied to the factory so that its production could go on uninterruptedly even during the Arduous March, a hard time for the country, and took benevolent measures related to the supply of raw materials and, as a result, children’s happy laughter resounded at all schools.

And he added that the country is faced with many problems to solve, but nothing is more important than to produce and supply children’s foodstuffs and that he would never concede in the matter concerning the production of children’s foodstuffs.

After all, the factory could always produce children’s foodstuffs on a regular basis while improving the quality of products even in the hard times.

New trolley bus route

In August 2021, when the construction of the Pothong Riverside Terraced Houses District was in full swing, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the construction site despite the rainy weather.

As he walked up the steep slope at the head, he beamed satisfactorily as he came to offer another civilization to the people. And he instructed officials to build walkways well and rationally distribute the public transportation means so that the future residents would come down directly from their houses and use traffic means without turning round the residential area.

In March 2021, when he inspected the layout of the terraced houses district to be newly built there, he asked officials where the nearest metro station was and pointed to the need to build a new trolley bus route on the Puksae riverside road passing the Pothong Riverside Terraced Houses District in the future.

A few days later, he came out to the field and asked again how the bus service route was planned, saying that importance should also be attached to the issue of meeting the aesthetic sense in construction and that of providing residents with every convenience in their life as well.

As a result, a trolley bus line passing the new residential quarter was built and came into service.
